The Swan Hill Medical Centre development addressed the drastic regional shortfall in doctor and medical facilities. The requirements for the Swan Hill medical centre were established in discussions between Local Council, Dolfen Developments and Tristar. These included the location, size and specific needs of the community.
The long term association between Dolfen Developments and Tristar has ensured that the process for research, development and delivery can occur quickly and efficiently. Tristar was able to obtain the approval to consolidate these medical needs in the area. Dolfen Developments sourced the appropriate location in Swan Hill’s CBD and transformed an existing building into a modern medical facility.
This facility officially opened in November 2010 and accommodates eight doctors ranging from GP’s to specialists as well as facilities for Immunisation Nurses. The support from community, council and local authorities has enabled the facility to be fully integrated and running at full capacity.
The Swan Hill development further cements the regional focus of Dolfen Developments and Tristar, ensuring that regional centres can adequately supply healthcare within their communities.
